Many might think am crazy or am one of those fanatic Hindu activists. But I am not. I am fully aware of what I am writing and its not scrap.
Reasons why I hate Gandhi:
1) Gandhi misinterpreted AHIMSA- Himsa is when one kills the other for selfish interest or because of jealousy. It is never himsa when you kill a person for the victory of DHARMA. If this statement is untrue, BHAGVAT GITA, the book which Gandhi referred to, itself holds no value. All the incarnations of Lord Vishnu will remain unjustified. It is our duty to fight when ADHARMA takes over DHARMA, so as to reinstall it.
2) Gandhi was an amazing politician, not greedy of money, but greedy for FAME- Gandhi was one guy who misused AHIMSA, just for FAME. What he wanted was fame and not money this is exactly what Indians dint see in him.
3) If he was alive, we would have seen India split into a hundred small countries or kingdoms. We would have lost the hindu heritage and culture. He would have sat for yet another sathyagraha if some community had raised their voice for separate country.. after all peace and non violence was his tools. He would have subjected the whole country to his emotional blackmail of “sathyagraha until death” mantra.
4) He split India into two – India and pakistan (it is not that I am unhappy about our division, I am unhappy over very much a materialistic issue- loss of land). One third of our land became a foreign land over night and above all these and the atrocities done by muslim league in pakisthan against hindus, Sikhs and budhists in their territory, he wanted Indian government to spare them 550 million rupees from then Indian treasury.
I really appreciate the mastermind behind the Gandhi assassination, not for the heinous crime of killing a human, but for terminating the sathyagraha-blackmail cancer to which our whole political system had to enslave itself to.(I wish this had happened a few days before the Indo-pak divison.)
Also I have read a lot about Godse… Both good and bad. But I feel he was genuine and a better scholar than Gandhi himself. Godse knew the right essence of BHAGVAD GITA. He was a social reformer and a well read personality with clear vision about HINDUSTAN. His action of killing Gandhi lead to 1) end of single jury, single judge-gandhi scenario in India 2) It held high the aggressiveness in Indians (or else, with the non-violance crap of Gandhi, we would have all become eunuchs) 3) He ended the non-violance scrap of Gandhi which, if we had not given up, India would have never developed into a superpower of 21st century.
I do not consider Gandhi as father of our nation.. he is father of pakisthan. Many may not agree if I say that Godse would be a better choice for that caption. But today’s India is definitely a fruit of his thoughtful act.
To end this blog.. Godse was hanged under the law of land or law of India and it was done by the government of India which was congress lead government, who consider Gandhi as their most reverent leader and the father of the nation. If it was so, they have held Gandhi values high above by hanging Godse at red fort, which itself is an act of non-violance!!!

som(e) crap.
ReplyDeleteIt is really funny that you assume that you are being objective while analyzing one of the greatest men who ever walked this earth, while in reality each of your point is extremely naive and has just too many incorrect premises.
ReplyDeletePlease read your post again, I think you'll find that your arguments are hollow and prejudiced.
I do not agree with the article but please , for heaven's sake , stop trolling . He was the one of the greatest men who ever walked this earth ? Really ? LOL
DeleteThanks a lot for reading my blog.. Some people think over what others think and express.. many a times people refuse to even read or think over the possibilities beyond their thought and perception. Most of the people have a very conditioned mind..They just refuse to budge. They refuse to agree anything that the mass refuses to agree! Let us all at least agree to this one point that good or bad is very relative and so can be the perceptions and thoughts. These are my thoughts n opinions.People can agree or disagree and i totally respect your right to express.!I do not moderate your comments.!! hehe
ReplyDeleteDear Friend
ReplyDeleteI don't know what you want to prove to others but what I can sense is that you as an individual are in a habit of thinking being “Always Right”.
I guess you never thought of the fact that there are reasons in life for the deeds you perform. It’s not necessary that they are for your own personal interests only. If you don’t taste those flavours of life then you can’t get the true meaning of life.
It’s the culture that we Indian inherit. Culture is often considered the driving force behind human behaviour. Culture is a distinctly human means of adapting to circumstances and transmitting this coping skill and knowledge to subsequent generations.
I am pretty much sure you as a person are spiritual, to an extent; however you would hardly follow the right direction in life. One needs to identify the difference between “What is right and what is Easy”. It’s easy to blame others for their endeavours but hard to appreciate them.
The way you trying to express yourself depict that you have become more frustrated after leaving your own country. Grow Up.......
hehe..!!!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all..anonymous 2..well written:)
ReplyDeleteAs for Som..
1)Gandhi did not misinterprete ahimsa. Ahimsa is its crudest form can be described as no bloodshed. Coming to Bhagvad Gita and Dharma, I agree that adharma should be fought, but not necessarily by violence. Gandhi did fight injustice and adharma but he did so using tools of non-violence. His idea was to couple ahimsa to fight adharma. I will come back to this again.
2)Greed for fame sounds absolutely idiotic. One can be greedy for money or for both, money and fame. Greed for fame earns nothing except for the fact that people know you. I dont see what good it does to tne individual who wants only that!
3)If you think satyagraha, peace and non-violence are all means of emotional tools, crap and do no good, let me tell you this- If you go back in history, no other country has achieved her independance with little or no bloodshed like India. We took long but the consequences of such an act should not be overlooked. Gandhi helped India fight her independance in a more civilised and human way which helped her in estabilishing good and peaceful relations with most of the other countries.Exceptions are always there. It is also one of the reasons why India today is free of civil wars. Gandhian principles do not believe in war. They believe in productive outcome simply by voicing you opinions. Violence sows seeds for hatered. A country that adopts violence for any reason cannot participate in any peace maintaining acts. Ahimsa, satyagraha are mere tools to fight injustice. This is sole reason why we are on talking terms even with worst of our enemies. Had we been violent, Pakistan would have been more violent on us than what it is today!
4)Gandhi was against partition upto the hilt. Why do you forget it was Britishers who were the culprit and then Jinnah. Anti Gandhi Hindu think that Gandhi sided on Muslim cause and pressurise hindus alome to change. Jinnah thought Gandhi was the Hindu leader. That is sole reason he chose to join muslin league. So now we have this poor man who selflessly tried to rub off diferences and was unfortunately tagged as pro hindu or pro muslim leader! He must be turning in his graves!
ReplyDelete5) You cannot blame gandhi for atrocities done by the muslim league on people of other religions. It was entirely their idiocy and imbecility to have done that. Gandhi supported hindu-muslim unity not muslim league.
6) When an independant country is formed, the mother country had no choice but fulfill the demands of the daughter country, both materialistic and monetary. If this is not done, the daughter country has its own ways to get what they want. And they manage that most of the times. And they may not be non violent like us. In case you dont know, the muslim league even took with them tables, chairs, pens, papers with them when they left for pakistan. You could not have helped it. It is true for every partition. And if there were odd number of chairs, the muslim league broke it into half and took the broken chair( read freedom at midnight). If they could take away a broken chair yoou may think the level to which they would have stooped down to get what they wanted. And the same stroy comes into play-give an inch take a yard. We helped pakistan, now they want more..they want pakistan now! And this cannot be helped.
6) Godse was nothing more than a criminal. He may have been right but his approach was definitely wrong. Genocide cn never br justified. If he were as genuine as you say then he should have had gumption to convince people that Gandhi was all wrong. You can never justify anything that has a loophole at its fundamental level. The reason why Godse could not prevail.
ReplyDelete7) There must be some quality in Gandhi that he could entrance the whole of India. Something that no one else cold do-without holding any official authority. There can be 1 idiot, 2 idiots 10000 idiots..the whole of India could not have been idiot!
If you believe Gandhi was wrong then perhaps you are wronging many great people icluding Albert Einstein!
9)Lastly, Gandhi was not alive to forgive Godse. He couldnt have helped if he was hanged!
I am not pro gandhi or against Gandhi. This holds true for all politicians. He may have made mistakes. But then who doesnt? people are wise and peole make mistakes..that is why they create history and history repeats and continues as well.
History is history because it is past. So when history is presented to you it is bound to get corrupted over time and generation. People write history mingled with their prejudices. We all have brains and so we should be wise enough to think and sieve out facts from prejudices
Dear Som ..sorry for writing late :)
ReplyDelete1) U have every right to think whats RIGHT and what WRONG what ur consiousness tells you. However the question is whether CONSCIOUSNESS itself is right or wrong !
2) Well its your choice to hate or like someone.
3)I am not sure about your research on GANDHI :P
4) However its my personal opinion and you can deny it in every capacity.
5) INDIA is very much associated with GANDHI, you will not believe me, that here every chinese know Gandhi and they respect him alot. Its not good that we indians dont respect him - now itself comes from our rooots of freedom and independence which Gandhi founded and hold the flame that we have a right to think differently ... as compared to this i feel that i believe some actions of LEADERS of other nations were so WRONg but people still respect them bcos they made there nationals think and taught them like this .. but u see Gandhi never did this ... still u r independent of ur thinking ...:)
Some points of Ahimsa - nonvoilence is NOT wrong if ur nature don't accept this then it doesnt mean u r wrong !
However where u find a example .. people have got freedom without violence. He believed in AHINSA bcos he dont want a son ( a freedom fighter) to die just bcos they want freedom .. he respect human lives of its nationals.
M not sure about Money issue, however i have heard of this thing.
Having said that ... still you are free to write what you think ... however i would request please dont disrespect National Leaders..
M not sure whatelse to say :)
he is a FRUSTRATED
ReplyDeleteWhos is frustrated..?? Gandhi of I???
ReplyDeleteof course Gandhi!
DeleteRight now its u who is frustrated...who is still thinking "Y i am Alive"? lolzz.....
ReplyDeletehehe. Thank you guys.. thanks a billion bunches for reading ma blog.. Happy diwali.. hehe
ReplyDeleteplease dont write anything unless you have researched enough on th topic! Seems you know half truths!
ReplyDeleteWhy i hate som..comin soon to theaters near you
ReplyDeletem with u som n so many others like me gandhi was a fucking mass murderer m a proud Hindu n for those who think godse was a criminal i wanna ask 1 question y he killed gandhi
ReplyDeletehttp://rranjan.wordpress.com/2009/01/29/why-godse-killed-gandhi/
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect to your wanton opinions, have guts to disclose your identity instead of being anonymous when making such comments. All itt reflects is your disbelief or fear in your own said words!
Nice blog...well written. I have one suggestion for you. Choose a better blog theme. Reading your blog for long time creates so much eye stress. Choose a simple theme with white color.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogging!!!
Yah Ggandhi have idea which only suite for an ideal world of his thought. But sometimes his idea's are nothing but committing suicide. He is an hindu and felt shy to appeal to Muslims when come to advice non-violence.
ReplyDeleteIndrayani, you are nothing but an idiot. It is because of people like India was bisected on the basis of religion. Read little history and then try to become intellect in public forums. Ignorance is bliss for idiotic fools like you.
ReplyDeleteindrayni you dont know anything about history, first read the history properly.i have some question for you.1)why did gsndhi opposed netaji all the time?2)what is the reason behind gandhi ideology to oiling british(although they have described him "half naked fakir"thanks atleast they).why did he always play his political game with other freedom fighter.he was dumb and insane. Its hard to say today we worship as bapu...chi.thats why congreess party havent won in gujraat election(mahatama gandhis birthstate)at least they understand the facy, they are devoloping compare to other state.
ReplyDeletenice blog som :) totally agree with u gandhi was the biggest gandoo this world can ever produce
ReplyDeleteu can refer this link to knw abt gandoogiri
http://karsewak.blogspot.com/2007/02/reasons-why-i-hate-gandhi.html
i also hate gandhi , according to me he is a "fucker of nation". i am usuing your valuable data in my blog .
ReplyDeleteHey thats nice to know.. N thanks a lot for reading my blog!
ReplyDeleteWell written blog. But there are some points that is incorrect. Well, I agree that Gandhi did some mistakes but the aim of every freedom fighter is to give India freedom. Hence no one is bad. But the biggest mistake that Gandhi did was to give freedom of a country whose people apprehend politicians as their role model.
ReplyDeleteGandhi used to sleep nude with nude teenage girls including his own grand-niece Miss Manu Gandhi, claiming that he was testing his ability to control sexual desires. Do you believe him?
ReplyDeleteI have heard 'bout this too........ this is disgusting!!
DeleteGandhi was definately after fame, so he is to express unreasonable opinions. He knew that Indians are thrilled by something unpractical. But his greatness was in taking all the people together.
ReplyDelete@ Indrayani, well written. But I feel England was too weak after the world war to hold its territory. Not only India but almost all other countries were freed from British slavery.
ReplyDeleteThe navy mutinied. Subhash Chandra Bose also led an armed assault. The British knew they could not hold onto India. When Allen Hume founded the Indian National Congress his aim was to provide a 'safety valve' as clearly indicated in his writing. This was to avoid another 1857. Excluding some British like Annie Besant most really didn't care about humanity. I really doubt how much satyagraha could have worked. It did work to some extent, no doubt. India's freedom struggle was unique in that way. But without the world war I doubt when we could have obtained freedom.
When Gandhi called Guru Gobind Singh, Shivaji Maharaj and Maha Rana Pratap as misguided patriots, I think that is where the philosophy went to its extremities. If these leaders would have followed non violent methods I doubt they would have suceeded. Gandhiji's disciple, Acharya Vinoba Bhave, was great in his own right; but he had said that when we were at war with China, if we send all our children at north east border the war will stop, the Chinese will not bomb. A daring plan. Maybe would have worked. But at what cost such a plan can fail?
Sarojini Naidu, an ardent follower of Gandhi told him after the failure of Khilafat and Non- cooperation that He is a great saint; and like a great saint he should sit and be worshipped for his acts. But she entreated him not to enter politics.
The new India holds pride in its secularity. Gandhi's dream was really beautiful. But I do not think it was pratical. We can see that we are not secular. The constant bowing down to the British has made the Britisher's goal of destroying the Indian person's pride a reality. We see this when we still deem the westerners better and ape them. The Britishers cunningly engineered the Indian mind. Lord Mc Caulay said that british textbooks contain more knowledge than all sanskrit texts together. Later he said that he had not read single sanskrit verse. (lol?). I think that satyagraha has taken a toll on next generations nationalism.
@Jaydeep , I totally agree. The History taught in Indian schools will tell us that M. Gandhi was the father of the Nation, Jawaharlal as the 'Chacha' and Indira Gandhi as the 'daughter'of our country. People should make an effort to read the real history of India. If Gandhi was alive he would have for forgiven Godse?????? I hardly think so!! M. Gandhi called Bhagat Singh a terrorist, he didn't save him. And forget that, if Godse had bad intents he wouldn't have surrendered himself after killing Gandhi. He was the real man.
ReplyDeleteFor people who love Gandhi blindly, tell me one thing What was the need of parting India Pakistan and handing over all that money to Pakistan which we never even got back???, A lot of muslims stayed back during the partition. A lot of Sindhis and Punjabis were thrown out of their houses ,Terrorism is flowing right from Pakistan today. There is unrest in Kashmir. We are still paying for the decisions Gandhi made back then. And all the satyagraha and Ahimsa was just a joke for all the Britishers. India did not get freedom because of Gandhi! Face it!
Well presented but still an emotional article.
ReplyDeleteWhat Gandhi did was 'converting people into lambs' who can be chopped off by barbarians.
He never insisted on the value of reason or logic but continued with his stupid logic of ahimsa & satyagriha. Both these principals are useless in today's time.
You can't tackle the Taliban with ahimsa.
Here is what Gopal Godse - the brother of late Nathuram Godse has to say about Gandhi.
It s better to hear from the person who share the soul of Nathuram Godse Why Godse killed Gandhi?
To all fuckers who love Gandhi dont say we got independence due to Gandhi Britishera left India because they swept all the wealth from India by then assholes but not because of blueady Gandhi he is neither hero nor father of the nation he is just a filthy asshole
ReplyDeletewow. firstly, let me congratulate the author . brave piece of work. not too authoritative , but certainly brave.
ReplyDeleteGuys, let me put it simple. India was a British colony. I agree. so does History . But give me a fine example of any other Commonwealth country (ex-british colony) which gained "independence" through the author "Gandhi " method ? hmm . none.
why?
almost all the colonies gained their independence naturally. mostly through what we may term "violent" measures . Revolutions or sort.
My friends, we gained our freedom not because the brits were afraid of some satyagrahis. but because of the menace of Nazi Germany. They couldn't simply afford to manpower their foreign assets.
Gandhi was a mere man who couldn't face another. he hid behind the cover of "non violence".
Only if India had atleast 10 youths like Bhagat singh !
Alas, If it wasn't for the timing of the British withdrawal, nobody wouldn't have even remembered that crapster . he didn't even show the guts to launch his usual "agitation" to rescue that eminent youth, bhagat singh.
Look where his nonviolent crapster has got us to.
India is almost 65 years old. have we become a Developed country yet ? no. instead , the very people incharge of running our government and its offices are corrupt. And they hide their wet hands behind the cover"loop hole filled" constitution .
what's the problem with this blog? I've written a lots of comments but they aren't still approved!
ReplyDeleteCompletely in agreement with you Som.
ReplyDeletestop talking shit dickhead
ReplyDeleteShut up and open your eyes!! you moron!!
Deletei hardly understand why the need to hate has found its roots in you.i see very less people now in our country who support congress, which respects gandhi.Ok if u jus try to superimpose this on our present day....ur hate for gandhi= no respect for him=hate to ppl who respect him=hate our present govt.
ReplyDeletewell thats jus fine.u are free to do that NOW.because we are INDEPENDENT.
lets walk back in time...when we werent independent...thats before the worldwar.
wud u have still opposed him?his ways?firstly i dnt think u could have even cared to think abt freedom.LOL.excuse my frankness, but i dnt think that our country culd have found the gates to freedom any earlier. Our county has always been religious...and not forgeting that this land has always held ppl frm all religions!hindu!muslim!christian!sikh!jain!what not?!!
if we were to act with violence,it wud never have been difficult for our sworn enemies to play with our emotions and turn us against eachother!!have u ever thought of this as a possibility?probably not.
his idea of non violence has not only saved unnecessary bloodshed but has unkowingly kept us all in love(at that time) with eachother...what ever religion we may belong.
Our hunger for freedom and the brotherhood somehow has also been a result from his ways of ahimsa.
Bhagvad gita the book which Gandhi referred to,as u so remind...that it is our duty to fight when ADHARMA takes over DHARMA, so as to reinstall it,has always been JUSTIFIED!!
ReplyDeletethe only FACT is that YOU GOT TO HAVE EYES THAT CAN APPRECIATE!!He jus did what he could to give us freedom!
Gandhi choose to face the enemy from front with his only weapons, Truth and non-violence. He didn't walk around the world with a knife or a gun to strike back on those who is going to strike him. He welcomed death. He felt, upon his death, India might get the freedom. Many times he was jailed. Many times his life was under attack. Many times, he performed fasting (most of these episodes were not against the British, but against the social evils including religion and castes). He could have died during any one of his crusades, that started in early 1890's and lasted till he died. But nothing feared him. He stood upto his basic principles of non-voiolence. Once he proclaimed, "Non-violence is the first article of my faith. It is also the last article of my creed.". If someone wanted to kill him they could have killed him without his objection. He neither locked his door nor wore a arm shield to protect himself from extremists among British Empire and among Indians. There was once bomb thrown at Gandhi during his evening prayers. Fortunately, it didn't kill Gandhi at that time. WHen people in his ground started running around in pell-mell, he told people to calm down and then he continued with his prayer as if nothing happened. I wonder how many of us would really be running for our life, if it ever happens to us.. Question yourself, whether you are in any way close to Gandhi or for that matter Bhagat Singh. Ask yourself, whether you have ever behaved against your own principles, even if that principle is to fight against the corrupt society through voilence? Were you able to root out the social evil that you were fighting against?
NOW!about all that uve probably read and heard about gandhi that gave that devil in you such power to hate him....i wud like to ask...on what profound basis do u so declare that HE killed bhagat singh?or any one of our superheroes for fame?(lmao!people!!!!)
HOW can u be so sure that he did all this you say he did?
well if u ask me this...that why am i so glued on to gandhi not being SELFISH...i wud jus say....we are still fighting for making of smaller states....like telangana for example.TElangana wants its separate state.why?because they say that they r nt provided with jobs like telugu ppl are(rolf)!!many other scenarios like these are always on the roll.....i dont wish to remind myself any more!but u...please think!have we had any peace actually after he was murdered?now before u bark upon me that how can we have peace until ppl who support him are still alive....I wud like to tell you that our present govt is nt approving of this separation only because IT shudnt happn this way!and if it were to separate them...another war wud strike upon them that they are jus dividing the nation!(sad fact!isint it how u will respond when some one says that this is what u can expect frm congress?...dont lie to urself!)
insted of fighting on WHY I HATE GANDHI! if u cud sort out what u like abt him...ur soul will deepen upon the thought that he did what he could, now let me stand and try being better than him!!IN MY OWN WAY!...(but i hope violence is nt ur say!:/..)
ReplyDeletei find this man ammusingly gud only because i try to find gud in him.why can u tell me...or rather assure me that u could have better lead us around that time amidst all the chaos of religions, caste, clour, creed, hunger, poverty, and SLAVERY?
Its TRUE that he studied abroad in their clothes and reading their books and that later he asked us to boycott even their salt....but dear me!he himself had boycotteed it long back hadnt he?he studied there with a motive to be a good advocate, which he was.sure he was thrown out,but if he had hate,he woulnt have thought of NONVIOLENCE.he would have by all means picked up weapons and fought till he died!
dont clot your minds with hate....let it breath and try learning!for gods sake!and why do u have to fight now??!!
at this rate im sure we r gonna have worldwar 3! :/ :(
Eisha
I can digest it.
ReplyDeleteI Agree.
ReplyDeleteagree
ReplyDeletegandi was a coward
1)he did not like other people except gandians
2)he misjudged the term ahimsa
3)he and nehru was the reason for the disappearence of SUBASH CHANDRA BOSE
4)he supported nehru and NOT SARDAR VALLABAI PATEL TO BE THE FIRST PM OF INDIA.
AND LAST BUT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRST
HE DID NOT RESPECT AND ILLTREATED BHAGAT SINGH AND CHANDRASHEKAR AZAD
Great Article. Gandhi is biggest cult produced in India.
ReplyDeletevery true...... but do not forget that it was gandhi and his movements who led us to freedom though it ended up with a partition which was no doubt a fault of gandhi who merely supported jinnah.
ReplyDeletesecond thing, godse was hanged coz he was responsible for a murder!! and according to the laws he was supposed to be hanged. I agree with gandhi being the father of pakistan but not with godse being the father of india................. and I seriously agree that if gandhi was murdered some days b4 partition, today we would have been all together!
